These last 30 pounds to lose are a huge pain. I've been at the same weight give or take like 5 pounds for months now. I weighed myself and saw I put on a couple more pounds than the last time, but I'm not recording it because I'm PMSing and bloated as hell.....so I know I didn't actually get fatter.
I'm trying to find new sources of inspiration. I'm finding it hard to focus on multiple things at once. Focusing on passing all my classes and losing weight is just proving too much to do at the moment. After tomorrow I'm going to have 3 consecutive no exam weeks before finals so I'm hoping to be able to lose 10 pounds by the time I see my family for the winter break. 10 pounds in a month and a half is pretty realistic for me, agree?

I would rather focus on losing a pound per week. Losing too fast is not healthy!
It also depends on how you lose it. What do you have up your sleeve? Cutting back on Starbucks (NO....blasphemy!! I definately "get" the caffine addiction in grad school. Every time I try to beat it I get roped back in) or exercising more?
3 weeks of no exams. Sounds great! :) I hope you enjoy the time not taking exams (I'd say off, but seriously...when do you EVERY get time off in graduate school?!).
10 pounds in 6 weeks sounds a little aggressive to me, but what do I know? If I could predict the future, I'd be picking better lottery numbers. LOL
In stressy times, we sometimes have to prioritize. All you can do is your best, and the weight will do what it will. Good luck with your exams!
As a hefty person our main goal would be to reduce weight. Going for gym and working out will get our weight down. But due to the busy lives or time we are not in a position to go to gym. weight loss diet plans really do an important help in getting our weight down and becoming healthy.
Hi Asma,
This is John Davenport and like you I write extensively on weight and fitness issues. I'd like to ask a favor of you. I've recently published my own ebook on how I overcame emotional eating and managed to shed over 30 pounds. I'd love to get your feedback on the ebook since I enjoy your writing and would value your opinion. It's very readable so I wouldn't be taking too much of your time and I'd appreciate the feedback.
Also, I'm sure this is a subject to which your readers will respond, so I believe your time will not be wasted. I would consider it a personal favor, and hope to get an email from you.
If you do have the time to go over my new ebook and offer feedback, simply email me here: john@emotionaleatingsolution.com, and I'll email a review copy right back.
Thanks,
John

sabs, it's not the best thing but the reality is out of the 47 lbs I lost most of that was done in short periods of time..I had a lot of in between time where my weight stayed the same.
Diana, no plan really LOL. but cutting back on starbucks would be good. Oh and I thought I would be free with no exams for 3 weeks but I have to prepare for practicals :(
Cammy...yea it's over ambitious but like I told sabs most of my lsot weight was done in short spurts of time. I'll weight myself as soon as my period is over.
weight, thanks!
